The extension on the southern facade is intended to define the entrance to the residence, while also creating a larger veranda. This new volume contains a storage room and an area for bicycle parking under cover on the first floor. The new veranda connects with the home's social area on the second floor. An external staircase creates a connection between the veranda and the garden.

Towards the home's western facade is a new volume that replaces the former garage. This volume contains a garage and storage room, as well as a new entrance and storage room for the studio on the first floor.
