The site is located on a sloping plot in Trondheim, with open views northwards across Trondheimsfjorden. The upper part of the site is flatter and well suited for outdoor areas for relaxation and play.
The detached house is designed as a slender building volume that follows the natural slope of the terrain, reducing the need for extensive ground works and allowing the house to engage harmoniously with the landscape. The floor plan is rational and easy to navigate, and the project is organised in a way that allowed the client to carry out parts of the construction work themselves. The same focus on views, daylight and adaptation to the terrain can also be seen in Enebolig Lade.
