The project arose from an architectural competition in 2020 that we delivered in collaboration with Agraff Arkitekter. Loneliness is a growing problem in Norway, and in recent years loneliness and alienation among students in particular is a topic that has come to light. The project Hjem 2.0 addresses what architecture can contribute to give belonging, social security and the feeling of a home to the many students who have moved away from family and friends and to all those who feel alone and different.
