This proposal creates a complex and multi-faceted neighbourhood that intertwines a small-urban structure with untouched nature. The buildings sit on a slope, which connects Jakobstien and old Åsvei via several intimate gardens.

The sites topography was used to split the building volumes into two groups. Apartment buildings are located at the bottom of the plot, hidden in a natural depression in the slope. The flatter part at the top is used for a low-density buildings that are clustered together for natural cohesion. At the same time, the clusters provide a clear definition for the buildings in the landscape and provide space for high population density alongside quality green areas.
