Lunt på loftet

This project is a total renovation of a loft in one of Trondheim's many fantastic apartment buildings. The project is an extensive rebuild both inside and out.
 
This project involves a complete renovation of a loft apartment in one of Trondheim’s characteristic apartment buildings. The work primarily consists of an extensive interior transformation, combined with minor modifications to the roof structure to improve daylight conditions and views.
New roof windows and dormers have been added to bring more natural light into the apartment and to enhance views across the city. The roof windows introduce a soft, varied daylight that changes with the seasons, while the dormers allow for vertical window openings that frame views towards Trondheim, including a breathtaking glimpse of Nidaros Cathedral.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and natural, combining new materials with existing brickwork that is allowed to remain a central feature of the interior. A palette of earth colours and materials creates a calm, welcoming and cohesive atmosphere throughout the apartment.
